Start of new habit

I have said to myself so many times, that I should draw everyday… and every time I draw the set time (usually an hour) for a week or two straight. And then comes that day when you don’t have time! I think most of us has been there right? After that day.. it is hard to come back to drawing, or doing anything for that matter, every day. For me, I was drawing an hour after dinner, every day, with […]

Nephew III

The next portrait in the ‘Nephew’s ‘ Line. This is the last portrait for the ‘just-turned-4’ nephews. I have one that that is coming up in 3 years time (yeah, he just turned one so it’ll be a little while) and then two older nephews at 13 and 15 that I need to find good pictures of. Guess I need to see if I can hassle my brother into rummaging through his old photo albums 🙂 Finally, the exams […]

Drawing sold!

Although this week I didn’t feel like sitting on my ball (yes, I do not have a […]

The same company, gaming company, that did the Halloween pumpkin contest also had a zombie-fication contest. That consisted of drawing one of their characters as a zombie. I thought long of what character I would do and settled on a sweet little support called Lulu. She’s […]

Relaxation

This is the second painting I did for my boyfriend’s family, and the one that they now have in their house. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of it in the frame that we got for it, but it made itself very nice in a black sturdy frame, with a white cut-out for more stability. The way I drew this is the same as my normal process. Shade the area of the subject Put in the darkest value go […]

VinoVin

When travelling to my boyfriend and his parents I drew some pictures to bring as a thank you for being so hospitable and kind to me when I was there. When asked for what they liked I got the answer of fruits. I made three different fruit drawings for that trip. This is the first one. Here you can follow my way of drawing. First I lightly shade in everything that I’m going to draw (I really don’t like starting […]
